While this is an interesting, and perhaps insightful, remark, there is *no way* to derive that from the quotation.
“Teach a child more than you know, because they are a different age than you are.” How can we *not* limit what we teach to our own learning? “Our own learning” is all that we’re capable of teaching!
And what does the child’s age have anything to do with anything? We’re all different ages. We were all born at different times. How on earth Mr. Tagore starts with this premise and then finds his way to an insight about education is beyond me.
It sounds poetic, but the ideas themselves are vapid and useless.
