You have a fundamental misunderstanding of meditation, but so do a lot of people so it’s not your fault.
Meditation is cultivating awareness of everything that arises in your consciousness. It’s not blocking anything – in fact, it’s accepting all of it *without* judgment.
The key to meditation is you learn to *not* get caught up in the “mental drama” anymore. Most of us go through life on autopilot, being dragged around by our minds. Meditation is a way to stop that process and – as a result – develop the ability to make better decisions and take more skillful actions.
